Why are there no cross overs?

We feel bodybuilding has become extremely complicated over the years, with too many crossovers. We have simplified this by limiting crossovers. We feel it will make it better for the competitors, coaches, judges and audience. Athletes will know which category fits their physique.

How do you guys control drug testing?

Drug testing is done on the day of competition. Athletes are chosen by judges. If a competitors test comes back positive, it is a lifetime ban from YNF Australia. For more in depth information about drug testing please head to terms and conditions.

What does the future hold for YNF?

Our goal is to not only have a prestige show here in WA but run YNF shows in other states and further down the track other countries, then we look forward to having State, National and World Titles. We know our passion for this industry will take us far in the Natural Bodybuilding world.

Which categories can do routines?

Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Figure and Mixed Pairs routines are optional. We present a trophy for the best routine for these categories.

Where should I get my tan done?

Tracey Kaye and her team are our on-site hair, tan and makeup artists. With a high level of experience in tanning, they will have you stepping on stage with the correct shade to look incredible under stage the lighting. Contact Tracey Kaye to confirm a spot.

President

Debi Comport

As the president of YNF Australia, my philosophy has always been to create a federation that showcases the athlete: hence the focus on the name “YOUR” Natural Federation. Our goal at YNF is to provide athletes with a well-structured and quality show with our values.

In 2015 I established Strike a Pose Studio and became a posing coach across all categories and federations. The exposure to the world of competitive bodybuilding allowed me to see the area within the industry which needed to be revised to create a superior experience for the athlete.

I have coached many clients who have accomplished State, National and International Championships including many Pro Card winners, I believe in creating a memorable experience for all my clients.

Paul Comport

As the Vice President of YNF Australia, I strongly believe athletes deserve the best possible experience and support from a federation while competing in their show.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, I have seen the benefits of the sport but also some of its setbacks which have also been the driving force behind wanting to create our own federation.

As the official call-out compare judge on the YNF judging panel, I have also judged at both a state and national level. I am the founder of Old School Personal Training and I have been privileged to work with some top athletes over the years helping them reach State, National and Pro Card status.

As the Business Development Manager for YNF Australia, my mission is to create authentic and reliable business opportunities for the YNF organisation and its valued partners. I generate financially rewarding opportunities with a focus on building strong relationships that mutually benefit all parties.

I pride myself on creating a valued experience for all the sponsors, athletes and spectators by not only maximising opportunities for business development within the association but out of sheer passion and desire to see the sport showcased the way it deserves to be. I analyse, research and implement targeted marketing initiatives to better benefit members and the federation.
